Download CompanionForge

Free to download. The Free version runs without a time limit; Premium is unlocked in the app.

CompanionForge-Setup.exe (coming soon)

What you need

• Windows 10 or 11.
• World of Warcraft (any version).
• A microphone.
• A key for one AI service: OpenRouter (about $5 of prepaid credit lasts a very long time), OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini (with billing).
• An NVIDIA graphics card is recommended: speech recognition runs on it. Without one it runs on the processor, which is slower.
• For streaming: any streaming app with a browser source. Not streaming? Your companion can show up on your own screen instead (World of Warcraft in Windowed (Fullscreen) mode).

"Windows protected your PC"

Windows says that about programs from small publishers. Click More info, then Run anyway. The setup needs no administrator rights and changes nothing else on your PC.

Next: getting started.
